One day in December 2011 Chairman Kim Jong Il guided a striking drill of a large combined unit of the Korean People’s Army.
The service personnel of the unit were in high spirits that they would immediately defeat the enemy with powerful strikes they mastered as befits a Paektusan revolutionary strong army if the enemy invaded even an inch of the DPRK’s territory.
That day Kim Jong Il highly praised the unit for preparing all its service personnel to fully perform their duty by creating difficult and complicated combat situations and conditions that might be encountered in actual combat and launching an intensive training to make them acquire methods of battle operation.
Saying that it is necessary to prepare all service personnel into combatants by raising a strong wind of training among them, Kim Jong Il said that training is the most important for the KPA that defends the outpost of socialism with revolutionary arms, the weapon of the class.
