The DPRK’s human rights organizations formed according to their activities are Korea Association for Human Rights Studies, Korea Education Fund, DPRK Measure Committee on the Issue of the Japanese Military Sexual Slavery and the Forced Draftees, Red Cross Society of DPRK, Lawyers Society of Korea and Democratic Lawyers Association of Korea.
The Korea Association for Human Rights Studies assumes it as its mission to study general issues related with the work of ensuring human rights in the DPRK, to suggest measures for human rights to the government organs and to make research on the international human rights systems.
The Korea Education Fund is greatly conducive to providing the rising generation with goof education conditions by strengthening financial and material support on education so as to fully ensure the level of education as required by the developing times.
The DPRK Measure Committee on the Issue of the Japanese Military Sexual Slavery and the Forced Draftees was organized in order to disclose in detail the unethical crime committed in Korea by Japan and conduct campaign for thorough apology and reparation for it.

The Lawyers Society of Korea explains the state laws and stipulations among the people and helps them to observe them, assists and collaborates with the court to give impartial sentence and ensures legal rights and interests of examinees and the accused.
The Democratic Lawyers Association of Korea assumes it as the mission to defend and implement the government’s law idea and policy and consolidate and develop human rights law system and other law systems of the Republic and makes activities in contacts with the international lawyers organizations including the World Democratic Lawyers Association and the progressive democratic lawyers organization in different countries.
