The British Association for the Study of Songun Politics carried an article in June 2012 on the internet homepage with a photo of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un attending the Joint National Meeting of the Korean Children’s Union Organizations held in celebration of the 66th founding anniversary of the KCU. The article noted as follows.
That Kim Jong Un appeared, with the children instead of the Party and government cadres, on the platform of the Joint National Meeting of the Korean Children’s Union Organizations held in celebration of the 66th founding anniversary of the KCU shows that the DPRK regards them as the successors to the revolution, the reliable pillars of socialism and the future.
It is unimaginable in the capitalist countries that the state took a measure of mobilizing planes for the delegates of the KCU celebration event.
In the DPRK the children are regarded as a king of the country.
