The Fourth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea made detailed analysis and appraisal of urgency and epoch-making significance of solving the rural question in making comprehensive development of the socialist construction and, on its basis, set forth huge goal and fighting tasks to fundamentally change and transform rural communities in keeping with the era of the Workers’ Party.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un noted that the goal of socialist rural construction set forth by the Party reflected its intention to prepare the agricultural workers to be rural revolutionaries in the new era and turn all rural communities of the country into an earthly paradise to be envied by the world so that they can open a gate to a communist society before others.
