One September day in 1952 President Kim Il Sung visited the headquarters at the front in order to shatter a new “Kimhwa offensive” being prepared by the US aggressors and provide a new turning phase in the overall front line.
Kim Il Sung said that the desperately attacking enemy should be smashed completely at the frontline of defence. He said that, in order to frustrate the enemy’s attack, it was necessary to fight with the tactics suited to the actual condition of the country by adding that night action, assault and other many tactics which the anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters and the Korean People’s Army soldiers have applied are the most powerful ones suited to actual condition of the country.
