    National heritage is valuable asset made by our ancestors through their long creative activities and the national wealth that should go down through generations.

    The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said.

    “National heritage conservation is a patriotic undertaking for defending the history and traditions of the nation and adding brilliance to them by inheriting and developing the precious spiritual and material wealth created by the ancestors.”

    Through the whole period of their revolutionary leadership, the great leaders paid importance to the conservation of the national heritage to give brilliance to our long-standing history and brilliant culture.

    Since the first day of national liberation till the last moment of his life, President Kim Il Sung made every effort to add brilliance to our national cultural heritage.

    True to the idea of Kim Il Sung, chairman Kim Jong Il correctly evaluated and solved the significant issues decisive in understanding our history to give brilliance to our righteous national history and our valuable wealth that links the lifeline of the national history through the cultural relics associated with wisdom and talents of our ancestors.

    In his busy days of the Songun leadership, he visited historical relics and scenic spots to make the national heritage conservation as education to implant our-nation-first idea among the people and saw to it that the excellent national traditions could be preserved well to fill the country with the national soul.

    At present, the historical cultural heritages are preserved as they are serving as the foundation of building socialist culture and treasure of the people, country and nation. This is the fruit of wise leadership of the great leaders.

    The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un set it as invariable policy of the Party to value, inherit and develop the folk tradition, wisely leading this work.

    It is his firm will to make our country the advanced civilized country with long history, brilliant culture and good manners and customs, true to the noble idea of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.
