“It is beyond imagination. It is abnormal that they offer their blood and sacrifice their young days and even their lives to others. They are very curious to me, indeed. Does the word others exist in this country? I cannot even dream such people in my country. The DPRK is mother of genuine ethics and morality as such deeds are common in this country.”
This is an impression written on a visitor’s book by a foreigner who visited the DPRK and witnessed its reality in which the young people become real children of elderly people who have no caretakers, the “girl mothers” who looks after orphans like their real parents and the teachers who carry the disabled pupils on their backs to school to give them education.
This is an objective appraisal of the DPRK’s socialist system which is full of warm love and affection.
However, it is unimaginable in the capitalist society based on extreme individualism that one devotes oneself to his colleague or neighbour.
Korean-style socialism, a harmonious society full of beautiful virtues and traits of regarding it as true happiness and pleasure that one sacrifice oneself to others, is quite different from capitalism where the people become evil ones with no human feelings. What do the two different systems tell us?
They tell us that a socialist society is a flower garden that brings flowers of human love into full bloom every day whereas a capitalist society is a living hell for the people which has no human nature, conscience and morality.
